Audrey M. Johnson is the Executive Director of the national Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) a role she has held since September 2005. Prior to that, she served four years as Executive Director at LEAF’s British Columbia affiliate, West Coast LEAF, in Vancouver. She has also held posts with the Vancouver Status of Women, CBC NewsWorld, and TransAlta Utilities Corporation. Audrey has been active in women's organizations and causes for nearly 15 years including serving as a former president of the National Congress of Black Women's Foundation and as an appointed member of the City of Vancouver Women's Task Force. Her current volunteer activities include serving as a member of the Toronto Health Policy Citizen’s Council, and as a director and secretary of the board of the Multilingual Community Interpreter Services Society. Audrey holds a double major B.A. from the University of Calgary, an M.B.A. from Royal Roads University and an LL.M from Osgoode Hall, York University.
