Leslyn Lewis is the founder of Lewis Law Professional Corporation, Barristers & Solicitors. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and earned a law degree from the prestigious Osgoode Hall Law School. She began her post-secondary education at the University of Toronto (Trinity College) where she graduated magna cum laude from the Bachelor of Arts program. After obtaining a Master’s in Environmental Studies from York University and a Master’s in Business Administration Concentration in Business & the Environment, she worked on numerous environmental projects with the Ontario Round Table on the Environment and Economy, Ontario Hydro and the United Nations. Leslyn is currently pursuing a Ph.D at the University of Toronto with an interdisciplinary focus on Law, Sociology and Environmental Studies. Her thesis focuses on the rights of developing nations to provide affordable essential medications, balanced against the protection of pharmaceutical patents in an international forum. For the first five years of her legal career, she worked at several large Bay Street law firms prior to forming Lewis Law firm. Leslyn serves as a member of LEAF’s Fund Development Committee
