Rose Sangster has been the Treasurer of LEAF and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee since August 2008. She is the Finance Manager of Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood Centre, a multi-service agency that is both a Health Centre and Community Centre. The agency encourages people to work together and take action to improve the political, social, economic, spiritual and cultural life of the whole community.

Rose has over 10 years experience in the accounting field of which 5 of them have been at the management/advisory level. Her experience spans both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors. She is currently pursuing her accounting designation as a Certified General Accountant (CGA).

Rose is actively involved with GLAD (Gays Lesbians of African Descent), a grassroots organization that educates and advocates around queer rights issues locally and globally. As a former professional soccer player, Rose continues to enjoy a full and active life. Rose lives in Toronto, Ontario with her loving partner and two wonderful daughters.
