Please join us October 18, 2018  to our Annual Persons Day Breakfast.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s event focus is \u201cWomen in Detention.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are delighted to feature Senator Kim Pate<\/strong>, as our keynote speaker. She will talk about access to health for women  in prisons with a special focus on Indigenous women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is joined by Professor Jamie Liew<\/strong> and Professor Martha Jackman<\/strong>, who will focus on access to health for Refugee women in detention and access to health as a Charter Right respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though Indigenous women and Refugee women are from two different worlds, they share similar plight and barriers to accessing health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
