LEAF is committed to ensuring reproductive justice remains a right for women in Canada, even during a pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">LEAF Halifax has updated this resource on Nova Scotia\u2019s abortion laws and policies:&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Abortion-Access-Framework-May-2020.pdf\"><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Access&nbsp;to Choice: The Legal Framework for Abortion Access in Nova Scotia<\/span><\/i><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">. It is current to May 2020 and includes information on accessing abortion services during the pandemic.&nbsp;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">We would like to thank Julianne Stevenson, Jennifer Taylor and Mary Rolf for writing this&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">very&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">important resource and keeping it up to date.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Abortion access in Canada<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;in the 1990s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;was documented by the&nbsp;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Canadian Abortion Rights Action League (CARAL), among other groups.
