A portion of the proceeds from the sales will go to LEAF where all the funds will be put toward supporting LEAF\u2019s litigation and law reform programs. LEAF intervenes in legal cases to advocate for the equality rights of women and girls across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWe are excited about this partnership,\u201d said Megan Stephens, LEAF\u2019s Executive Director and General Counsel. \u201cWorking with Madame Premier has been a great opportunity for us to reach new audiences about our work and the importance of continuing to protect the equality rights of women and girls. This work is especially critical at this moment as the global COVID-19 pandemic has only worsened the status of many women and girls across the country, particularly those who experience intersecting forms of oppression.\u201d<\/p><p>\u201cSection 15(1) ensures protection based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability,\u201d said Madame Premier owner and designer Sarah Elder-Chamanara. \u201cSupporting the equality rights of women and girls through the justice system is fundamental and central to the mission and values of Madame Premier.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The t-shirts and tote bags designed specifically for this collaboration are available for pre-order at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.madamepremier.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.madamepremier.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Women\u2019s Legal Education and Action Fund<br><\/strong>LEAF is a national, charitable, non-profit organization, founded in 1985.
