It also requires that all people have the ability to raise children in safe and healthy environments.&nbsp; It encompasses not only reproductive rights, but also the social, economic, and political conditions that impact whether and how individuals are able to parent with dignity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LEAF is starting its Reproductive Justice Project. Through this project, LEAF is looking&nbsp;to&nbsp;develop and advance law reform proposals linked to key reproductive justice issues. We are seeking three&nbsp;researchers to help develop the foundation for these proposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All three researchers will be asked to conduct literature reviews on key reproductive justice law and policy issues&nbsp;in specific jurisdictions, and summarize their findings.&nbsp;They will be asked to \u201cissue spot\u201d and provide links to resources.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scope of the literature reviews&nbsp;are&nbsp;outlined in the chart below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Project<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Jurisdiction<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Issues<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Total Length<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>1<\/strong><\/td><td>Ontario and Nova Scotia<\/td><td>a. Reports must be submitted by March 31, 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By applying for this funding opportunity, successful applicants consent to LEAF sharing the resulting work product with other interested organizations and individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must submit the following as a single PDF attachment:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A letter of intent outlining&nbsp;the&nbsp;project(s)&nbsp;applied for, and summarizing the applicant\u2019s relevant expertise\/experience in relation to the&nbsp;project(s)&nbsp;(maximum two pages per letter)&nbsp;<\/li><li>Applicant\u2019s CV<\/li><li>A brief writing sample (5-10 pages)&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants may apply&nbsp;to be considered for multiple projects, but a maximum of one project will be awarded per successful applicant.&nbsp;Only one letter of intent is required&nbsp;even if applying for multiple projects.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants for Project 3 (Quebec) must be able to conduct legal and&nbsp;policy research in French.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications will be accepted by email only. Elle exige \u00e9galement que tous les individus aient la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9lever des enfants dans un environnement s\u00fbr et sain. Elle englobe non seulement les droits reproductifs, mais aussi les conditions sociales, \u00e9conomiques et politiques, ayant un impact sur la capacit\u00e9 des individus \u00e0 \u00e9lever leurs enfants dans la dignit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le FAEJ lance son projet de justice reproductive. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce dernier, nous cherchons \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper et \u00e0 faire avancer des propositions de r\u00e9forme l\u00e9gislative li\u00e9es \u00e0 des questions essentielles de la justice reproductive.
