Dear members, friends, and allies,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are pleased to announce that LEAF Ottawa\u2019s 2015 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and appointment of the new Executive Committee will take place Tuesday March 31<\/b>st<\/b> from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at Nelligan O\u2019Brien Payne LLP, 50 O\u2019Connor St #1500, Ottawa ON .<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a chance to hear executive updates about the 2014-2015 year, network with LEAF membership, and find out about how you can get involved in promoting gender equality on campus and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ELECTION <\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to run for a 2015-2016 Executive Committee position, please submit a short statement of interest, indicating the position you are applying for, by Friday March 27th at 5:00 pm<\/b> to: ottawa@leaf.ca<\/a>. Please see attachment for executive position descriptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are also encouraged to get in touch with outgoing executive members who are happy to answer any questions you may have about their leadership experience with LEAF. Please contact Amy Kishek, Outgoing Chair at (ottawa@leaf.ca<\/a>) for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Results will be announced at the AGM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VOTING<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you cannot attend the AGM, you will be able to vote online in the election. Stay tuned! We will email all members a ballot on Monday March 30th. Voting will take place from 9:00am Monday March 26th to 6:30PM on Tuesday March 31st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would love it if you could join us for what is sure to be a fun, informative, and celebratory evening of feminist legal organizing. Even if you aren\u2019t planning on running for a position, we encourage you to attend so you can connect with the vibrant group of students, lawyers and supporters that form the LEAF Ottawa community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be sure to purchase or renew membership! LEAF is a national charitable organization and relies on membership dues to support its mission.
