{"id":12698,"date":"2020-06-22T14:29:27","date_gmt":"2020-06-22T18:29:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.leaf.ca\/?p=12698"},"modified":"2021-01-29T14:50:52","modified_gmt":"2021-01-29T19:50:52","slug":"indusubmission","status":"publish","type":"submission","link":"https:\/\/www.leaf.ca\/fr\/submission\/indusubmission\/","title":{"rendered":"LEAF submits brief on gendered impact of COVID-19 to the Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On June 19, 2020, LEAF submitted a written brief to the &nbsp;Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology discussing the need to work with and provide financial support to gender equality-seeking organizations such as LEAF, to ensure that Canada\u2019s pandemic recovery plan includes and supports those who have been hardest hit by COVID-19: women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the brief, LEAF outlined the gendered impacts of COVID-19 on industry and enterprise, in particular on women living at multiple intersections of oppression.
