The key recommendation was to expand meaningful, age-appropriate components on human rights and substantive equality in the K-6 social studies curriculum, as protected in the <em>Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms<\/em> and the<em> Alberta Human Rights Act<\/em> (AHRA).
