In 2022, after several years without a chapter, LEAF Winnipeg has come back to life with renewed appetite and ambition.
Our objective is to advance equality rights for women and non-binary people both through the law and by establishing links with other feminist organizations in Winnipeg. We are excited to host events that build community, raise awareness of important substantive equality issues, and get involved in critical feminist cases in both Manitoba and Canada.
LEAF Winnipeg is currently co-chaired by Natalie Copps and Dayna Steinfeld. Other members of the executive include: Paula Ethans as Outreach co-ordinator, Lidet Getachew as the Treasurer, Allison Kilgour as Administrative co-ordinator, and Katina Mikos as Membership co-ordinator.
