LEAF Public Education Programs

LEAF hosts educational events, trainings, and webinars on issues critical to gender equality. Past topics have included intersectionality and gender justice, technology-facilitated violence, and using the colonial legal system to advance the rights of Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA persons.

LEAF’s fact sheets and infographics provide important information about law, feminism, and gender justice in an engaging and easy-to-understand format. You can learn more about feminist strategic litigation, how we understand the impact of our work, and why we use the law as feminists.

In addition, LEAF branches run education programs to educate and empower young people by teaching them about sexual rights, responsibilities, and the meaning of consent in law, so that they are less likely to become victims – or perpetrators.
