Jobs and Opportunities

LEAF is hiring a Branch Resource Coordinator!

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in office – Toronto, ON)

Type: Full-time, Contract (24 months)

Remuneration: $73,500 plus benefits

Apply by: July 16, 2026 at 11:59pm ET

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Branch Resource Coordinator is a two-year, full-time position that will collaborate with LEAF’s volunteer branches to advance gender equality through law. This role will support and collaborate with thriving branches, and resource and empower branches as they are establishing their presence in their community. The successful applicant will help ensure LEAF’s branches are poised for success to deliver public legal education activities, engage in local community advocacy, build awareness of LEAF, and occasionally fundraise.

Reporting to LEAF’s Director of Operations, the successful applicant will be part of the operations team and work closely with the staff responsible for fund development, finances, technology, and organizational growth. The role will frequently collaborate with LEAF’s public legal education team, and any staff assigned to law reform activities to advance this work with the branches.

WHO WE ARE

LEAF is a national non-profit organization which uses law to advance the equality of women, girls, trans, and non-binary people in Canada. Our office is based in Toronto, and we have volunteer branches in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Sudbury, Toronto, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Windsor, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

We intervene in legal cases throughout Canada to advance gender equality – helping to prevent violence, eliminate discrimination in the workplace, provide better maternity and parental benefits, ensure a right to pay equity, and allow access to reproductive freedoms. We push for progressive law reform on issues central to gender equality, including sexual violence, online hate, technology-facilitated gender-based violence, and pay equity. We use education to amplify our legal victories and improve people’s understanding of their rights.

WHO YOU ARE

You have a passion for gender equality and a talent for working with volunteers. You bring an intersectional feminist lens to your work and thrive in an environment where you often shift between different roles, projects, and teams. You are excited by the prospect of working with a diverse group of volunteers, in locations from Edmonton to Halifax, from students to seniors, and with groups delivering 40+ workshops in a year, or those who may host one or two events in a year. You are capable of building relationships with volunteers both online and in person.
